NURSING CARE
We provide 24/7 nursing care, delivered by specially trained carers and overseen by a qualified clinical nurse. This type of care is more complex in its nature, requiring special support for certain health care needs.
RESPITE CARE
Caring for an older loved one at home can be physically and emotionally challenging. Making time for yourself is vital to help you to recharge. Our short-term respite care gives you the chance to have a holiday or to take some time out.
END OF LIFE CARE
We believe that every person deserves to experience a dignified and respectful end to their life. Our caring and empathetic teams provide sensitive end-of-life care.
RESIDENTIAL CARE
At Charnwood House Nursing Home we tailor everything we do to your loved one’s needs and preferences so they can continue to enjoy a great lifestyle, whether that means supporting them to stay involved in the community or having their room laid out in a particular way.
PALLIATIVE CARE
Palliative care, is an interdisciplinary medical caregiving approach aimed at optimizing quality of life and mitigating suffering among people with serious, complex, and often terminal illnesses.
DIMENTIA CARE
Dementia affects different people in different ways, which is why we tailor your loved one’s care to their unique needs. Every care home colleague receives experiential dementia training to enhance their understanding of what it may be like to live with dementia.

The qualified nursing staff is on duty 24 hours a day and each member of our dedicated, caring team benefits from their own ongoing training program that exceeds current Care Quality Commission standards.
We also maintain strong links with the local community. Visitors are always warmly welcomed and equally our residents are encouraged where possible to continue to pursue social interests outside of the Home.
Residents enjoy a nutritious and varied menu using fresh local produce wherever possible. All our food is home-cooked, and we cater to all special dietary requirements.

Mr. Cimy George (Director)
Mr Cimy George taken over Charnwood house Nursing home in Feb 2022 and has been since leading its day-to-day operations along with an experienced and dedicated team.
Mr. Santhosh Nainan (Manager)
Mr. Santhosh Nainan has been working as a Registered Manager at Charnwood House, Since July 12, 2021, where he served as a home manager for 4.5 years. Santhosh puts a lot of effort into his work and shows a lot of compassion for the residents. He is an excellent leader and manager, who consistently gets the support of the team.
